Job summary

Rhoda AI is building generalist robots with a strong focus on production-grade inference. We seek an Inference Infrastructure Engineer Intern to optimize model inference across the stack, from data pipelines to GPU kernels, delivering end-to-end impact on real-world robotics.

You will work with infra and research engineers, own a scoped project, and present results to the team. Strong Python/C++ skills and DL fundamentals are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree in CS/EE or related field.
• Strong Python and/or C++ programming skills.
• Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals and at least one framework.
• Ability to read performance data and reason about trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Profile and benchmark inference latency, throughput, and memory.
• Apply optimization techniques like quantization and mixed precision.
• Improve data movement: video decoding, input pipelines, and IO paths.
• Write and tune CUDA/Triton kernels for performance-critical ops.
• Build tooling to track performance regressions and improvements.
• Collaborate with researchers to turn ideas into production infrastructure.
