Job summary

Gritt Robotics is seeking a hands-on shop/warehouse caretaker to own the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of our hardware shop during a major office move and beyond. You’ll keep tools, machines, and inventory in top shape, set up the new shop, and support a technical team with reliable daily operations.

This full-time, on-site role in Belmont, CA requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

High attention to detail and a strong sense of order.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy equipment safely.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one – training provided.

Responsibilities

Keep the hardware shop clean, organized, and in pristine condition day to day.
Arrange and maintain workstations, staging areas, and equipment zones.
Care for and stage sensitive hardware – robots, cameras, LiDAR units, tools.
Manage basic inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and reorder items as needed.
Maintain machine shop equipment and keep it in good working order.
Run and manage 3D print queues and keep printers stocked.
Receive, ship, and schedule deliveries; coordinate shipments.
Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for facilities needs.
Maintain safety around heavy equipment and active work areas.
Spot issues early and address them proactively.
