Boston Dynamics is searching for a versatile full stack engineer to join the Atlas Applications team in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge robotics, from robot commands to user interfaces, contributing to the transformation of humanoid robots.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and designers to ensure the seamless integration of complex systems. The position offers a base pay range of $117,000 to $160,000 annually, along with a generous benefits package including medical, dental, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience required.
• Strong full stack background required, focusing on frontend, backend, and LLM integrations.
• Proficiency in modern tech stacks necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work on Atlas' agentic capabilities utilizing VLMs and PMs.
• Develop dashboards and task configuration UIs for users.
• Design observability frameworks and logging systems.
• Measure reasoning quality and safety across tasks.
• Collaborate with product experts to ship abilities.
• Engage with stakeholders for real-world use.
• Contribute to engineering culture through reviews and documentation.
