Job summary

Rocket Lab Robotics in Pasadena is seeking a Facilities Operations Lead to oversee the robotics facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations across office, lab, cleanroom, machine shop, and test areas.

You will drive maintenance, readiness, and safety programs, coordinate calibration, oversee LN2 systems and environmental controls, and partner with engineering and production to support growth and new programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in facilities operations or related technical environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a team.
• Experience maintaining lab, production, or regulated spaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility maintenance, readiness, and safety for the Pasadena robotics facility.
• Maintain readiness of production, lab, cleanroom, machine shop, and test areas.
• Oversee ESD and environmental controls compliance.
• Coordinate equipment calibration and metrology activities.
• Set up and support automated test systems using LabVIEW or similar.
• Lead continuous improvement of production and test infrastructure.
