Job summary

MOHR Talent partners with an aerospace and defense manufacturer in Starkville, MS to hire a Robotics Engineer focused on Fanuc systems, programming, automation integration, troubleshooting, and process improvements across advanced manufacturing operations.

You will work hands-on with Fanuc robots, PLCs, sensors, and automated welding/assembly equipment to boost reliability, throughput, and quality on the shop floor in a fast-paced environment. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industrial robotics experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc robotic systems.
• Strong robot programming, troubleshooting, teach pendant, and integration experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, servos, motion controls, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial robotic systems.
• Support robotic systems used in aerospace and defense manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain robot programs, automation sequences, and process logic.
• Work with Fanuc robots, teach pendants, robotic backups, and system integration.
• Support robotic welding, material handling, machine tending, vision systems, and automated assembly equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, communication, and robotic system issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and automation documentation.

We’re partnering with an aerospace and defense manufacturer that is hiring a Robotics Engineer to support robotic programming, automation integration, troubleshooting, and process improvement across advanced manufacturing operations.

This is a strong fit for someone who is hands-on with industrial robots, Fanuc systems, PLCs, automation equipment, troubleshooting, and robotic manufacturing cells. The right person can support production, solve technical issues quickly, and help improve reliability, repeatability, quality, and throughput.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial robotic systems
• Support robotic systems used in aerospace and defense manufacturing
• Develop and maintain robot programs, automation sequences, and process logic
• Work with Fanuc robots, teach pendants, robotic backups, and system integration
• Support robotic welding, material handling, machine tending, vision systems, and automated assembly equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, communication, and robotic system issues

• Assist with equipment commissioning, FAT, startups, and validation activities

• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, servos, motion controls, and industrial networks
• Experience with robotic welding, automated assembly, machine tending, or material handling preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot automation issues in a fast‑paced production environment
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or high‑reliability manufacturing preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and production priorities
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills
