Job summary

Fillauer Motion Control in Salt Lake City is seeking an Assembly / Soldering Technician to build cable and circuit board assemblies for upper limb medical products. You will interpret wiring diagrams, assemble per BOMs and procedures, and ensure quality through inspection and testing.

The role requires soldering experience, ability to read technical documents, and willingness to learn across high-complexity areas.

Qualifications

• Must have experience using soldering equipment, soldering materials and small hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Assembles products using manufacturing procedures along with mechanical drawings and BOMs.
• Interprets wiring diagrams, schematics, or other instructions.
• Ensures quality standards are met and verifies quality workmanship by following inspection and test procedures.
• Identifies defective items and handles them per quality procedures.
• Resolves manufacturing problems by communicating with peers or supervisor.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with company standards.
• Uses basic hand tools, fixtures, ovens, heat guns and other light duty equipment.
