Tutor Intelligence is hiring a Deployment Manager to own the customer experience from post-sale kickoff to on-site deployment and stabilization. You will coordinate with customer IT, operations, and facilities to prepare sites for automation and ensure launches are on schedule.

In this role you will own deployment, identify risks early, drive resolutions, and hand off to Customer Success with confidence. Requires 2+ years in customer-facing roles in relevant industries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing role within robotics, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or industrial environments.
• Exposure to robotics, automation systems, MES, WMS, or industrial IT environments.
• Experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder deployments in operational settings.
• Ability to manage delays, changing requirements, and difficult conversations.

The Company

Tutor Intelligence is building the technology and processes to let robots go where they’ve never gone before: the average American factory and warehouse. The Role

As a Deployment Manager at Tutor Intelligence, you will own the customer experience from the moment a deal closes through successful on-site robot deployment and early post-launch stabilization. You will work directly and independently with customer engineering, operations, IT, and facilities teams to prepare their sites for automation, manage the systems\' arrival, installation, and setup, and ensure deployments launch smoothly and on schedule.

This is a highly ownership-driven, customer-facing role at the intersection of operations, robotics, and enterprise environments. You will act as the single point of accountability during deployment, identifying risks early, driving resolution, and ensuring customers are confident and ready before handing off to Customer Success.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer operations, IT, facilities, and other stakeholders during deployment, owning the period from post-sale kickoff through launch and stabilization
• Coordinate physical layout, workflows, networking, access, and operational constraints
• Plan and manage deployment timelines, delivery schedules, and internal and external dependencies
• Identify risks, gaps, and blockers early, and drive resolution across internal and external teams
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and clear accountability
• Operate effectively in ambiguous, non-standard customer environments where processes are still evolving
• Drive continuous improvement of Tutor’s deployment playbooks and processes

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within robotics, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or industrial environments
• Prior exposure to robotics, automation systems, MES, WMS, or industrial IT environments
• Experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder projects in operational or production settings
• Comfortable handling issues as they arise, including delays, changing requirements, and difficult conversations
• Bias toward ownership, accountability, and getting things done in imperfect, real-world conditions

Nice to Haves

• Experience as an industrial, mechanical, or automation engineer (formal education or on-the-job experience)
• Prior time spent working with scaling startups or in deep-tech companies
