Job summary

Skild AI is seeking a Deep Learning Engineer to design, train, and deploy models for robotic manipulation. You will work with our ML, robotics and research teams to build robust, efficient algorithms that enable autonomous robot behavior in real-world environments.

Applicants should have strong Python skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX, plus exposure to distributed training and reinforcement or imitation learning. This is a full-time role based in Pittsburgh, USA.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, Robotics, ME or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX.
• Experience with distributed deep learning and reinforcement or imitation learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize deep learning models for robotic manipulation.
• Model robotic manipulation processes for analysis, simulation, and control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models on robotic platforms.
• Work with inference and deployment teams to integrate models into robotic platforms.
