Job summary

LinkTech in Los Angeles is seeking an Engineering Technician for a hands-on production role. You will build, test, and integrate robotic subsystems and production hardware, following engineering documentation.

You will assist with assembling actuators, structures, harnesses, and other electro-mechanical components, perform harness builds and rework, and troubleshoot issues during integration.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and harness diagrams and translate into hands-on production builds.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment with changing designs, priorities, and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Willingness to learn on the job and take ownership of assigned work.

Responsibilities

  • Support the build, integration, debugging, and testing of robotic subsystems, production hardware, and test fixtures.
  • Assist with assembly of actuators, structures, fluid systems, harnesses, and other electro-mechanical assemblies. Perform harness builds, rework, and routing for development and production units.
  • Assist with troubleshooting assemblies and root-cause investigations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized lab and production environment and help manage tools and spare inventory.
  • Opportunity to support field deployments and hardware upgrades.
  • Work with the Production Coordinator to reliably meet build timelines, production goals, and address change orders.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to bring prototypes to life, maintain hardware, and support field deployments.
