Nemax in Augusta, GA is seeking an Automation Engineer to develop and optimize PLC and HMI programs for HPDC processes and to program, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA). You will work with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency and ensure safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering and has 3+ years of automation experience, with strong PLC/HMI and industrial network knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Strong expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and industrial networks.
  • Experience in die casting or automotive manufacturing preferred.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Supports installation and commissioning of new robotic cells.
  • Other duties as assigned

Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Strong expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and industrial networks. Siemens preferred
  • Experience in die casting or automotive manufacturing preferred
