Job summary

Nemak in Augusta, GA is seeking an Automation Engineer to develop and optimize PLC and HMI programs for HPDC processes and to program and maintain industrial robots across Fanuc, ABB, and KUKA platforms.

You will troubleshoot automation issues, work with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency, ensure safety standards, and train maintenance staff on best practices. Prior Die Casting or automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Strong expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and industrial networks. Siemens preferred.

Responsibilities
