Job summary

Sapience Automation LLC in Charleston, SC seeks a Project Manager to coordinate robotic systems integration projects from kickoff to closeout. You will be the primary customer contact, develop schedules, manage costs, and drive process improvements within the ERP environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the robotic or automation industry.
• Post high-school degree in a technical discipline.
• Proficient on PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus. Training will be provided if not already certified.
• Prior experience with the coordination of automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for customers.
• Coordinate and prioritize activities of the project team.
• Develop and manage project schedules.
• Oversee project costs.
• Manage action items in Sapience ERP system.
• Coordinate customer project meetings and open items.
• Facilitate customer acceptance for milestones.
• Oversee subcontracted trades for installation.
• Oversee system installation, commissioning and acceptance.
• Develop installation bid packs and assist in subcontractor selection.
• Manage installation and commissioning to obtain customer acceptance.
• Identify improvements to the project management process.
• Work with Engineering and Purchasing to identify key vendors.
• Coordinate Lessons Learned post-project.
