Job summary

Job description

Hours: Standard 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with flexible scheduling; results-oriented environment

Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000

Additional Info

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 6+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on automation and capital project management.

This is not a PLC programming role. While candidates should have a basic understanding of PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley preferred), the primary focus is on robotic automation. Experience with Fanuc robots is highly preferred, though candidates with experience on ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa, or similar robotic platforms may also be considered. Manufacturing experience is critical. Candidates must have hands-on exposure to plant environments and understand operational challenges from a manufacturing perspective. Individuals whose experience is limited to office-based engineering work will not be a fit.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial preferred)
  • Associate's degree may be considered with exceptional experience
  • 6+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments
  • Robotic automation experience (Fanuc strongly preferred)
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and plant environments

Day to Day

The Automation Engineer will support the development, integration, and implementation of ADS automation and control systems.
