Job summary

Delkor is seeking a Robotic System Build Technician Intern to join the Assembly team in Saint Paul, MN. This student internship focuses on learning basic assembly, internal computer systems, fasteners, and how to read prints, with hands-on experience on change parts and customer orders.

Essential duties include organizing parts, using hand tools, operating basic shop equipment, and supporting machine testing.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent; basic carpentry/mechanical skills preferred; currently enrolled in a technical program.
• Technical Skills: ability to use standard computer programs including Microsoft Office; good knowledge of assorted hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Organize parts carts; prepare parts on carts for returns (label and sort).
• Assemble change parts for production machines.
• Assemble customer orders before shipment
• Return fittings and fasteners to bins.
• Engrave hard plastic labels for change parts.
• Ensure the assembly floor area remains well organized and free of clutter.
• Remove empty skids, knock down cartons, and remove discarded pads and any extra leftover product.
• Assist Assembly and Machine Testing as needed.
• Fill cups and bottles with salt or water to simulate product in machines.
• Re-size pads when needed for customer testing.
• Load machines with test products for check-out process.
• Clean machines for refurbishment, for customer visits and for FAT.
