Job summary

Amazon is seeking current PhD students for Robotics Applied Scientist II Intern/Co-op roles in 2027 across multiple robotics teams. You will work on state-of-the-art robotics and AI research aimed at real customer impact, with scalable experiments and collaborations worldwide.

Experience programming in Python, C++, or similar language.

Responsibilities

Develop novel, scalable algorithms or modeling techniques advancing robotics/AI research.
Tackle challenging research problems bridging theory and practical robotics implementations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate research findings clearly.
Demonstrate ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate research, experimentation, and prototyping.
Critically review and validate outputs from AI tools and automated systems.
