Job summary

Lake Air Products is hiring a Robotic Programmer to join our Little Chute, WI team. This full-time role focuses on programming fixtures for welding structural forms and improving automation in a stamping and fabrication environment.

Expect hands-on involvement with welding processes and fixture design to maximize throughput and quality. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of programming experience, strong welding knowledge, and comfort reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• 1 year programming experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of welding required.
• Experience with FANUC Robots is a plus.
• Ability to weld components in various positions.
• Reading blueprints and performing measurements.

Responsibilities

• Program and set-up fixtures to hold metal components for assembling structural forms, using welding knowledge and engineering requirements.
• Participate in fixture design to enable productive and flexible welding of production parts.
• Develop templates or tooling to hold/align parts; install fixtures for holding metal parts, welding torch or arc equipment.
