A strong emphasis is placed on safety and meeting specifications in a lean manufacturing environment. Minimum qualifications include 1+ year in robotic welding, MIG and plasma cutting knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of robotic welding experience.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma machines and cutting torches.
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques, material characteristics, and structural fundamentals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble pieces using welding equipment and fixtures.
• Operate and program robotic welding systems; monitor welding process.
• Test and inspect welds to meet specifications before moving to next step.
• Set up/prepare robotic welding equipment for operation and read shop orders.
• Maintain safety and report unsafe conditions per guidelines.
