Forms+Surfaces is seeking a Robotic Welder Operator to join our Pittsburgh-area manufacturing team. You will create quality welds per blueprints, inspect welds for accuracy, and prepare parts using grinding, drilling, milling, and cutting.

You will perform first article inspections and log time entries in our system, contributing to efficient production processes. The role requires training in robotic welding, fabrication experience, and robot programming ability.

Qualifications

• Robotic welding training required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Must have programming experience with robots.
• Able to read schematics and drawings.
• Capable of MIG/TIG welding with various metals.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Able to adapt to changing processing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols).
• Inspect welds for accuracy.
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
• Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections.
• Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system.
