Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our Two Harbors, MN facility. This onsite role involves producing high-quality components through both manual and robotic welding processes and requires working with GMAW/MIG welding to AWS D1.1 standards.

The position offers a $1,200 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly pay range based on experience. You will operate weld cells, follow safety policies, and collaborate with engineering to ensure manufacturable designs.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Experience with GMAW/MIG welding is required.
• Robotic welding experience is preferred.
• Ability to read basic weld symbols on blueprints.
• Comfort using hand tools and basic repair equipment.
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape, level, angle finder).
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic weld cells.
• Perform GMAW/MIG welding per AWS D1.1.
• Complete production welding following procedures and safety policies.
• Follow robotic weld documentation for setup and operation.
• Layout, fit, measure, and tack weldments prior to final welding.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Engineering for manufacturability.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Document standard work and provide process feedback.
• Close shop orders and follow production schedules.
