Job summary

IQ Resource Group is seeking a Robotic Welder to support our manufacturing client in Richmond, IL. You will operate and maintain robotic welding systems, including fiber laser welding, to produce precision equipment.

Applicants should have MIG/TIG/robotic welding experience, good mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to learn new technologies. The role is on first shift, Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $25–$27 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with MIG, TIG, robotic welding, or laser welding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Comfortable learning new equipment and manufacturing technologies.
• Experience with robotic programming or teach pendants is highly preferred.
• Ability to use measuring instruments to verify product quality.
• English communication skills required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding equipment to support daily production.
• Load and unload parts while monitoring weld quality and consistency.
• Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment, fixtures, and production issues.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve welding processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
