Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs in Watertown, SD is seeking a Welder to operate advanced welding equipment, including robotic welding, and to ensure repairs meet high quality standards.

You will set up, troubleshoot and adjust welding machines, inspect finished products, mentor new welders, and contribute to safety and efficiency improvements. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered and the starting pay is $23–$26 per hour, with shift differentials on 2nd and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• : High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• : Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols; follow work orders and instructions.
• : 1 year weld experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plans details of working procedure.
• Inspects finished product for completeness and conformance to QA procedures.
• Safely operates all advanced welding equipment including robotic welding.
• Sets up, troubleshoots and adjusts welding machines to maintain production and quality.
• Mentors new welders and shares weld training contact.
• Participates in improvement planning to increase safety, efficiency and quality.
• Other duties as assigned.
