Webco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator for a day shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm). The role blends programming (10%) and operation (90%) of automated welding robots to drive production and quality improvements.

You will support robotic welding programs, transfer new products to robotics, design fixtures, and train the welding team while coordinating with maintenance to keep operations reliable.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of Robotic Welding or related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of robotics and welding processes.
• Creative, analytical problem solving and math skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Aufgaben

• Programming (10%) and operating (90%) automated welding robots.
• Provide general programming and engineering support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimize current robotic welding programs to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robotic weld utilization by transitioning manual welding to robotic cells.
• Work with customers and the business team to transfer new products to robotic welding equipment.
• Fixture design to facilitate productive and flexible welding of production parts.
• Provide training and documentation to ensure proficiency of welding team.
• Partner with maintenance staff to define proper preventative maintenance schedules.
