Webco Manufacturing, Inc. in Ottawa, Kansas, is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator for the Day shift (7am-3:30pm). You will program and operate automated welding robots to support strong production capacity and on-time delivery.

The role focuses on improving cycle times and quality, transferring new products to robotic cells, and working with maintenance and the production team in a growing, employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Robotic Welding experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of robotics and welding processes.
• Excellent creativity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Program (10%) and operate (90%) automated welding robots.
• Provide programming support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimize current robotic welding programs to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robotic weld utilization by transitioning manual welding to robotic cells.
• Collaborate with customers and business team to transfer new products to robotic equipment.
• Design fixtures to enable flexible welding of production parts.
• Provide training and documentation to ensure proficiency of welding team.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventative maintenance schedules and reliable operations.
