Webco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator for the day shift to enhance production by programming and operating automated welding robots.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the manufacturing team to transfer new products to robotic cells and to optimize weld cycles for quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have about 1 year of robotic welding experience, strong robotics/welding knowledge, and solid analytical/problem-solving skills to support ongoing process

Qualifications

• 1 year of Robotic Welding experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of robotics and welding.
• Excellent creativity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate automated welding robots.
• Provide programming/engineering support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimize welding programs to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robot weld utilization by moving manual welding to robotic cells.
• Collaborate with customers and team to transfer new products.
• Design fixtures to enable productive welding.
• Provide training and documentation for welding team.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance.
