Webco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator for the day shift (Mon-Fri, 7am–3:30pm) to join our production team in Kansas. The role emphasizes programming and operating automated welding robots to boost capacity and efficiency.

We value problem-solving, creativity, and a solid foundation in robotics and welding. The successful candidate will help transfer new products to robotic cells and support maintenance and quality initiatives across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Robotic Welding or related role preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of robotics and welding.
• Excellent creativity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Programming (10%) and operating (90%) automated welding robots.
• Provide general programming and engineering support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimization of current robotic welding programs to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robotic weld utilization by transitioning manual welding operations to the robotic cells.
• Work with customers and the business team as needed to transfer new products to the robotic welding equipment.
• Fixture design to facilitate productive and flexible welding of production parts.
• Provide training and documentation to ensure proficiency of welding team.
• Partner with the maintenance staff to define proper preventative maintenance schedules and ensure reliable operations.
