Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Urologist to join Northeast Ohio's comprehensive urology program. This employed position offers salary guarantee, benefits, and the chance to practice in an academically engaged environment with resident education.

You will join 7 Urologists and 7 Advanced Practice Providers, work with robotic and minimally invasive techniques, and participate in multidisciplinary care across the Summa Health System centered in Akron, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
• Active involvement in Urology and Family Medicine resident education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic care across the spectrum of diseases.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Teach and supervise residents within the Urology residency program.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical and radiation oncology and pathology.
• Utilize state-of-the-art robotic and minimally invasive techniques.
