Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited thoracic training.
• Eligibility for Texas medical licensure.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary oncology care and academic contribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full scope of general thoracic surgery with emphasis on robotic thoracic oncology.
• Provide perioperative management and inpatient thoracic care.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Engage in clinical research, outcomes research, and registry participation.
• Educate and mentor medical students and residents; develop regional partnerships.
