Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Medical Safety Officer to provide medical safety leadership for robotic surgery products. You will support risk-benefit assessments, post-market surveillance, regulatory interactions, and safety decision-making across the product lifecycle.

The role requires MD/DO/MBChB or equivalent, 5+ years robotic surgery experience, and strong data interpretation skills in a global healthcare setting. Domestic and international travel are expected.

Formación

• MD/DO/MBChB or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience after residency as a robotic surgeon in a robotics-enabled specialty.
• Experience in risk evaluation and mitigation is preferred.
• Experience in medical device/pharma industry is helpful.
• Clinical study or research experience is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Assess product risk-benefit and provide medical input for risk management reports and safety surveillance plans.
• Review adverse events, complaints, and mass communications.
• Review safety training materials.
• Interpret safety data and literature for product safety decisions.
• Advise on regulatory interactions and reportability.
