Job summary

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy serving long-term care facilities and assisted living communities in Florida. We seek a Pharmacy Technician to work under supervision, process prescriptions with OnDemand Express III, and manage robotic packaging systems to ensure accurate, timely medication distribution.

Ideal candidates will have a Florida license (preferred), experience with automated packaging, and strong data-entry and organizational skills to maintain inventory and safety standards

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Experience with robotic packaging systems preferred.
• Data entry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment.
• Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
