Job summary

BD is seeking a manufacturing operator in Cayey, Puerto Rico to support labeling/packaging and palletizing operations in a high-volume environment. You will follow approved procedures and monitor product quality, while maintaining equipment in good condition.

The role is on-site and requires a High School Diploma or GED, with safety and Lean practices emphasized. You will participate in standard record-keeping and maintain a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is the minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Starts-up the equipment following approved procedures.
• Monitors quality of products.
• Performs machine work following approved procedures and in accordance with QSR, ISO and safety regulations.
• Performs set-up and cleaning of equipment, including the palletizer machine.
• Maintains equipment under responsibility in good conditions.
• Operates manufacturing equipment (labeling/packaging).
• Prepares the BACTEC pallets, moves them to Warehouse and stores in the Warehouse locations.
• Notifies Shift Leader of any deviation from normal operation and assists in troubleshooting.
• Moves finished product to Warehouse following safety rules.
