Job summary

SurgiCor seeks a Clinical Specialist to support Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted surgeries in a fast-paced OR setting. You will prepare and calibrate robotic systems, collaborate with surgeons and OR staff, and ensure adherence to clinical best practices.

You will educate OR personnel on Mako instrumentation, document case coverage and feedback, and assist with demonstrations, onboarding, and site installations in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related fields preferred (Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Kinesiology).
• 2–4 years in medical device, surgical support, or clinical education preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic or robotic-assisted surgery highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative case support and technical expertise for Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted surgeries.
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain robotic systems and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff for seamless procedure execution and adherence to best practices.
• Educate and train OR personnel on Mako systems and instrumentation.
• Document case coverage, utilization metrics, and surgeon feedback per company protocols.
• Support product demonstrations, surgeon onboarding, and training programs with the sales team.
• Participate in new site installations, launch planning, and staff orientation sessions.
• Contribute to clinical research or data collection as needed.
