Job summary

Northern Inyo Healthcare District is seeking an OB/GYN to provide outpatient women's health services and participate in deliveries and surgeries at the Bishop, CA campus. The role includes open clinic hours, daily patient load, and opportunities for robotic-assisted procedures.

The position offers mentorship in advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, collaboration with a diverse care team, and robust referral partnerships with regional centers for maternal-fetal medicine and oncology.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited residency in obstetrics & gynecology.
• California medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient women's care, managing 12–18 patients per day in clinic.
• Attend deliveries, averaging 18–20 per month.
• Perform surgical procedures with monthly volume of 10–12 cases, with potential for growth.
• Opportunity to perform robotic surgery using the da Vinci system.
• Mentorship in advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery available.
• Collaborate with a team of OB/GYNs, CNMs and APPs.
• Maintain strong referral relationships with regional specialists for MFM and gynecologic oncology.
