Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare seeks a General Surgeon for Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. The role blends elective and acute General Surgery with resident involvement and a strong emphasis on robotic-assisted cases.

The candidate should be board eligible/board certified in General Surgery, with fellowship training preferred, and hold or be eligible for Utahlicensure. New graduates are welcome to apply, with a focus on clinical variety and growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from a fully accredited medical school.
• Board eligible or certified in General Surgery.
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Advanced GI, or Abdominal Wall Reconstruction preferred but not required.
• Robotic surgery proficiency with possible certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad general surgery care including elective and acute cases.
• Participate in resident education and collaboration in a high-acuity environment.
• Maintain credentialing and licensure as required by Intermountain Health.
