Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, an affiliate of Universal Health Services in Aiken, SC, is recruiting a BC/BE General Surgeon for the employed surgical group, Aiken Surgical Associates. The position offers collaboration within a collegial team of four general surgeons and one PA to perform a full range of GS procedures including robotics.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in general surgery.
• Active SC license and DEA or ability to obtain.
• Robotic training or strong interest preferred.
• Clear background and professional conduct.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the community of Aiken and surrounding area
• Provide surgical consults, diagnoses, and pre-operative planning in clinic and hospital
• Perform full range of GS procedures
• Post-op management of surgical patients including follow-up
• Call is 5 days a month
