Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a hands-on Robotic Polishing Technician to perform polishing and buffing on medical devices in a manufacturing setting. You will load/unload parts in robotic lines, change belts, and ensure equipment is maintained for optimal finish.

The role requires reading blueprints, precise measurement using micrometers/calipers, and the ability to work independently in a cell-based team. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preferred background in orthopedic polishing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year experience of orthopedic polishing or buffing.
• Robotic CNC experience preferred.
• Certified inspection techniques within 30 days of start.

What You Can Expect

Responsible for performing all robotic and hand polishing/buffing operations on Zimmer Biomet products using abrasive belts, buffs, compounds, and greases to attain the required cosmetic and blueprint specifications on the product.

Your Background

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have one year experience of orthopedic polishing or buffing using a variety of metals; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Robotic CNC experience preferred.
• Certified inspection techniques within 30 days of start.
