Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in Indiana is seeking a skilled technician to perform robotic and hand polishing/buffing on our medical implants, ensuring cosmetic and blueprint specifications are met.

You will load parts into robots, change belts, and perform final buffing, with focus on precision, blueprint reading, and metrology. A high school diploma and at least one year of orthopedic polishing experience are required; robotic CNC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of orthopedic polishing or buffing experience.
• Robotic CNC experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Certified inspection techniques within 30 days of start.

What You Can Expect

Responsible for performing all robotic and hand polishing/buffing operations on Zimmer Biomet products using abrasive belts, buffs, compounds, and greases to attain the required cosmetic and blueprint specifications on the product.

• Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints.

Your Background

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have one year experience of orthopedic polishing or buffing using a variety of metals; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Robotic CNC experience preferred.
• Certified inspection techniques within 30 days of start.
