Job summary

The Guthrie Clinic, located in Corning, NY, seeks a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Colorectal Surgeon to join East Corning General Surgery and Guthrie Corning Hospital. This role offers robotic capability, multidisciplinary cancer care, and a regional Guthrie network that supports long-term practice development.

Practice includes colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, pelvic floor and minimally invasive surgery, with opportunities to teach residents and participate in

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery required.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State.
• Strong interest in minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery, endoscopy, and multidisciplinary oncologic care.
• Commitment to Guthrie's mission of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive colorectal practice with robotic capability.
• Join Guthrie Corning Hospital and East Corning General Surgery.
• Collaborate with Gastroenterology and the Corning Cancer Center teams.
• Develop colorectal program growth within Guthrie's regional network.
• Opportunities to teach General Surgery residents during Corning rotation.
