Job description

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the 10Lines robots. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving within automated environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site service calls for repairs when necessary.
  • Deploy and service 10Lines robots according to engineering specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of robotic equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues related to robots and automated systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts as needed to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to improve the product and processes.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Update robotics user manuals as needed.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities, including logs of performed tasks and parts usage.
  • Provide training onboarding and technical support to clients and their operators.
  • Perform demonstrations of robots and the process for new client potentials.
  • Stay updated with advancements in robotics technology and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance system performance.
  • Operate and maintain a clean work area, including cleaning machinery as required.
Requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues systematically.
  • Basic understanding of robotic systems, including mechanical components, electrical wiring, sensors, and software interfaces.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Flexibility to work off-hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' successful work experience.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed for up to a week at a time.
  • Current and valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Robotics Technician or similar role.
  • Associate’s degree or certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with programming languages used in robotics (e.g., Python, C++).
  • Experience with robotic simulation software and automation controls.
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Salary range: $45,000 to $70,000.
