Job summary

Nimble Robotics, Inc. currently seeks a Robotics Support Associate to monitor a fleet of autonomous fulfillment robots in real time, quickly resolving hardware and software errors to maintain optimal floor throughput.

You will collaborate with frontline operations and service technicians, work with Engineering on edge cases, and help validate firmware and software patches, all while upholding safety standards on the live floor.

Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a similar role in automated warehouse or manufacturing environments.
  • Comfortable navigating complex dashboards, fleet management software, and basic hardware diagnostics.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; able to stay calm and decisive during high-volume incidents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Working knowledge of WMS systems.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Dedicated, hardworking, and quick learner.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor fleet management interface to ensure continuous throughput of autonomous systems.
  • Track key operational metrics and proactively address bottlenecks.
  • Respond to system alerts, robot faults, pathing jams, and hardware exceptions.
  • Perform basic triage to safely recover halted robots without slowing shift pace.
  • Log fault/bug reports with necessary details to enable root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose recurring failures of hardware, software, or sensors.
  • Assist in RCA sessions and test firmware or software patches on live floor.
  • Maintain clear communication with floor operations and service teams to meet daily production goals.
  • Enforce safety protocols on the grid and control mezzanine.

The Role

The Robotics Support Associate is responsible to monitor in real-time a fleet of autonomous fulfillment robots, swiftly resolving hardware and software errors, and ensuring optimal flow across the facility. You will partner with frontline operations, Service technicians to achieve daily production goals. You will closely collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot edge cases, track performance patterns, and drive continuous system improvements

Responsibilities
  • Monitor fleet management interface to ensure continuous, uninterrupted throughput of autonomous systems.
  • Track key operational metrics and proactively address bottlenecks.
  • Quickly respond to system alerts, physical robot faults, pathing jams, and hardware exceptions
  • Perform basic physical and digital triage to safely clear error states, recover stalled robots and return them to active service without compromising shift pace.
  • Use our tracking system to log detailed fault/bug reports, capturing necessary information to root cause incidents.
  • Partner with the appropriate engineering teams to diagnose recurring hardware, software, or sensor failures.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis (RCA) sessions and assist in testing or validating new firmware, software patches, and hardware retrofits on the live floor.
  • Keep clear line of communication with on the floor operations and Service to achieve daily production goals
  • Enforce safety protocols when operating on the grid and the control mezzanine.
Qualifications
  • One or more years of experience in a similar role working in an automated warehouse, manufacturing facility, autonomous fleet monitoring or technical operations environment
  • Comfortable navigating complex software dashboards, fleet management software, and basic hardware diagnostics.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to remain calm and decisive during high-volume operational incidents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment involving quickly changing priorities and ability to handle stressful situations
  • Working knowledge of google suite
  • Working knowledge of WMS systems
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Dedicated, hard working and quick learner
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours
  • Regular bending, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
  • Warehouse environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation
  • Required to work and walk at elevated heights, using fall protection equipment.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to access necessary equipment.
  • Occasionally required to smell, using odors to determine process or equipment problems.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally be required to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

Compensation

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
