HireArt is helping our client hire a motivated, entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of our delivery robots. This part-time, weekend-based role is onsite and ideal for individuals starting a career in robotics and electro-mechanical assembly.

You will prepare robots for daily deployment, manage charging cycles, perform basic repairs, and assist with updates across the fleet while learning foundational skills in a rapidly

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure all hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: Manage power cycles to ensure maximum fleet readiness.
• Cleaning robots: Maintain physical appearance and protect sensitive external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs: Assist with and execute basic repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns: Help implement widespread hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: Act as the hands-on field contact for the remote tracking team.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: Ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy: Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace for the entire technical team.

As a Robot Service Technician Assistant, You'll

Preferred Experience

• Introductory background or interest in electric vehicle (EV) service, automotive repair, or electronics

This is a part-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It is onsite and available to candidates local to the Fort Lauderdale-Davie, FL area.
