Insight Global is seeking a Robot Programmer to support industrial automation projects in Gallatin, TN or Greenwood, IN. You will program and troubleshoot robotic systems, and integrate with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, and vision systems for robust automation.

This hands-on role requires experience with FANUC or Yaskawa/Motoman, a robotics or mechatronics degree, and a track record in industrial automation or systems integration.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in robotics or related field preferred.
• 2+ years programming FANUC and/or Yaskawa/Motoman robots.
• Experience with material handling robotics and automation systems.

Responsabilités

• Program and troubleshoot robotic systems and integrate with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, and vision systems.
• Support equipment installation, onsite commissioning, debugging, startup, and validation.
• Develop and optimize robot paths and motion sequences; diagnose robotic/electrical issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and project teams to deliver automation solutions.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a robot programmer to support an industrial sales and service distributor client in Gallatin, TN or Greenwood, IN. This client provides finishing, dispensing, and filtration solutions to manufacturing customers. In this role, the Robot Programmer will program and troubleshoot robotic systems, support equipment installation, and perform onsite commissioning, debugging, startup, and validation. The position will also support the integration of robots with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, vision systems, and other automation equipment, while diagnosing robotic, electrical, and automation issues as they arise.

This is a highly hands‑on position for someone who is comfortable programming industrial robots, developing and optimizing robot paths and motion sequences, troubleshooting automation equipment, and bringing new robotic systems online. The Robot Programmer will work alongside engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to deliver integrated automation solutions for customers.

Skills and Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience programming FANUC and/or Yaskawa/Motoman robotic systemsExperience working with material handling robotics or industrial automation systemsPrevious paint or finishing robotics experienceExperience working for a systems integrator or in an industrial manufacturing automation environment
