Job summary

Service Robot Co. is seeking a field service technician to visit customer sites in Illinois to install, maintain, and repair commercial robots.

This on-site role is paid per work order under a contract arrangement, with remote specialist support available. You will perform installations, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues, carry out scheduled maintenance, document each visit with photos and notes, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Practical experience fixing or maintaining equipment.
• Background in field service, appliance repair, low-voltage work, or facilities maintenance is helpful.
• Reliability, clear communication, and accurate job records.
• Willingness to ask for help and report mistakes.
• Availability to drive to customer sites, work in different weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. The Academy is certificate training that we subsidize. Your first job is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
