Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Roanoke, VA. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and assist with fluoroscopy and monitoring during procedures.

The role requires one year of Cath Lab experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, ACLS, and BLS certifications, with patient safety and teamwork at the core of daily duties.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; follow infection control and procedural protocols.
