ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Roadway / Utility Superintendent to lead day and night field operations on highway and utility projects in the Raleigh area. The role requires managing crews, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil roadway or underground utility supervision and DOT project experience. Relocation to the Triangle is welcome for the right candidate.

Formación

• 5+ years of heavy civil roadway/underground utility supervision experience.
• NCDOT project experience is a plus.
• Ability to read plans and specs and track quantities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day and night field operations on roadway and underground utility projects.
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and foremen.
• Coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries.
• Plan work and maintain project schedule shift by shift.
• Own site safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
• Set up traffic control and lane closures within approved work windows.
• Collaborate with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.
• Track installed quantities and daily production.
• Prepare daily reports and field documentation.
• Coordinate handoffs with project manager and other shift.

Conocimientos

5+ years roadway/utility supervision

NCDOT/DOT project experience

Ability to read plans and specs

OSHA 30 certification

An established self perform heavy civil contractor with work across North Carolina and Virginia is hiring a Roadway / Utility Superintendent for day and night work in the Raleigh area. This is a strong opportunity for a Roadway Superintendent, Utility Superintendent or seasoned General Foreman with DOT roadway and utility experience who wants a stable employer with a long runway of work. You'll run day and night shift roadway and underground utility crews on highway, roadway and utility projects, much of it NCDOT work. Triangle locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Run day and night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and their foremen
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries
• Plan the work and hold the project schedule shift to shift
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift
• Set up and manage traffic control and lane closures inside approved work windows
• Work directly with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers
• Track installed quantities and daily production
• Complete daily reports, crew time and field documentation
• Coordinate handoffs with the project manager and the other shift

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of heavy civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at the superintendent or senior foreman level
• DOT roadway or utility project experience, night work a plus
• Working knowledge of grading, storm drainage, water and sewer installation, and paving sequencing
• Solid understanding of work zone traffic control
• Able to read plans and specs and keep accurate quantities
• Ready to work day or night shifts as the job needs
• Valid driver's license
• NCDOT project experience is a plus
• OSHA 30 is a plus
• HCSS HeavyJob or similar field tracking experience is a plus
• Based in the Triangle or ready to relocate to the Raleigh area
