Job summary

You will work within AVCON's design team on several projects, with opportunities to coordinate with clients and state agencies. A valid driver’s license and EIT eligibility within 36 months are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-5 years of civil transportation design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or OpenRoads and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in highway and roadway geometric design and plan preparation.
• Prepare project documentation including plans, specs, and estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project team members.
• Support project managers in scope, budget, and scheduling.
• Attend project meetings and present engineering work.
