As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will be responsible for conducting technical duties to assist in the review, analysis, and development of maintenance operations in accordance with management objectives and department policies and procedures within Clearfield County. Managing storeroom functions is a primary assignment of this position and involves preparing purchasing requests for storeroom supplies, receiving, storing, and distributing parts and supplies, and performing storeroom inventory duties. You will also assist in analyzing work plans to ensure that the program is balanced and the labor, materials, equipment, and funds necessary to complete work plans are readily available.
Excellent attention to detail is vital, as you will be assisting in the review of foreman payrolls for accuracy. This entails analyzing reports to monitor work data information including production units completed, man-hours spent, equipment utilization, and material usage in fulfillment of work plans, in addition to resolving any inaccuracies that may occur.
