Responsibilities

• Surface Cleaning: Ensure work area is clean and free of debris before paving operations.
• Equipment Operation: Use hand tools and equipment such as rakes, shovels, and tampers.
• Assisting Crew Members: Support paving crew with layout and alignment of pavement.
• Traffic Control: Direct traffic around work areas and follow safety protocols.
• Repair Work: Help repair and patch cracks and potholes in existing surfaces.
• Quality Control: Monitor work quality and report issues to supervisor.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and report malfunctions.
