Responsibilities include operating basic tools, assisting with repairs, and participating in traffic control as needed. A HS diploma or GED, up to one year of related experience, and a valid NM Class D license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0–1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• Valid Class D New Mexico Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laborer tasks related to street maintenance, stormwater, and landscaping.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining streets, sidewalks, curbs, and storm drainage systems.
• Participate in weed control, landscaping, and general grounds maintenance activities.
• Operate hand and power tools used in street maintenance and construction.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Assist with traffic control during street maintenance and construction projects.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve division goals.
