Job summary

HNTB's Las Vegas, NV office is seeking an Intern Engineer- Roadway for Summer 2027. The role entails assisting assigned departments with basic engineering tasks reflecting introductory curriculum. This is a full-time internship with no relocation housing provided.

You'll support engineers with research, design of projects, and drafting drawings while gaining practical exposure to transportation infrastructure. Visa sponsorship is not available; location is Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
