Job summary
ADP, Inc. is seeking a Roadway Engineer in Doral, FL with 5+ years of FDOT project experience.
The role requires FE exam completion and progression toward Florida PE licensure within 3 years, with responsibilities spanning planning to design for Roadway and MOT plans. Strong knowledge of FDOT manuals, AASHTO standards, and software such as MicroStation, Civil3D, and OpenRoads will be valued, along with bilingual English/Spanish abilities.
Qualifications
- FE exam passed and must become a registered Florida PE within 3 years of hire.
- Provide solutions at planning and design stage for Roadway and MOT plans.
- Experience with government agencies at State and Local level preferred.
- Work independently within a teamwork oriented environment in the development of contract plans and other design documentation; participate in proposals for conventional and design-build.
- Experience with FDOT Design Manual, Standard Plans, and AASHTO is required.
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program and a registered Florida Engineer Intern.
- Design experience in Roadway Resurfacing and Safety projects is required.
- Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD (including Civil3D); 3D Modeling (OpenRoads) a plus.
- Experience with GuideSign, AutoTurn, Quantity Manager, Linked Data Manager, etc.; is a plus.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
